About this deal

In theory, this adventure based in quantum physics could have gone on for another 100 chapters. In theory, it could have kept going forever. Of course, when you’re universe-hopping for the very first time, it’s difficult to find the one you want. As Albie searches, he discovers some pretty big surprises about himself and our universe(s), and stumbles upon the answers to life’s most challenging questions.

This resource uses Escape Room as a starting point to help explore cross-curricular themes around topics of friendship, the environment and ancient civilisations. There are suggested activities and discussion questions which can be used with a whole class or groups within a class, but can also be used to develop further activities and ideas, or to pose some ‘big questions’ for pupils to develop into personal projects. Aimed squarely at the pre-teen/YA demographic, ‘Many Worlds’ mixes science fact (all of which apparently accurate) with science fiction and fantasy with lots of fun. This is a great book for the open minded and imaginative reader of any age – with an interest science in general and quantum physics in particular. In this book quantum mechanics plays a big part. It is all explained very well because it is explained by a 10-year-old. All the physics is spot on in this book, which I really really really love. So, if you’ve enjoyed the idea of A Thousand Pieces of You, you will definitely enjoy this book as well, even though it is aimed at children (10-13 year-olds). Is het een boek voor groep 7 (het vijfde leerjaar)? Hmmm voor sommige kinderen zeker, maar daar heb je enkel de hele knappe lezers mee. Voor anderen is dit naar leesniveau niet zo evident.

The Many Worlds of Albie Bright (Paperback) - Waterstones

Schade. Denn das ist ja DAS zentrale Thema. This book is about a boy named Albie whose mum died. His mum was an amazing scientist and both Albie and his dad are devastated when she dies. Albie is desperate to see his mum again and when his dad mentions Quantum physics, and how numerous versions of ourselves can exist in a parallel universe, Albie decides to try and travel into one where his mum is alive. He finds out about the Quantum banana theory and uses it to travel into different parallel universes. Albie finds lots of versions of himself and his life on his mission to find his mum. I am enjoying this book because it is very facinating how they talk about paralelle universes because maybe some people has never talked about this stuff and might learn something new in this book. It is funny, sad, interesting and science related so it doesn't just has one genre, it has a different genre that everyone can enjoy. I would definately recommend this book to a person who loves science. Readers who enjoy this will also like Ross Welford’s Time Travelling with a Hamster, another funny, warm-hearted novel about family and time travel.

I enjoyed reading this book. I found it sad when Albie's mum died from cancer. Also, I wanted to read more when he went to different parallel universes because i wanted to know what happened next. I loved this book because it is all about science. This is a fiction book. Albie's mum has passed away and he is desperate to find her in another universe. As he travels through different universes, he finds himself as a bully and also as a girl. I would recommend this book to someone else for sure. When Albie's mum dies, he wonders where she's gone. His parents are both scientists, but his dad keeps saying his mum is still alive and with them in a parrarell universe.Curious to find the truth, Albie grabs a rotten banana, a computer and a cat to see for himself. What follows is a touching story of Albie coming to accept his new position, while we watch an increasingly bizarre set of alternate circumstances that Albie finds himself in. I was emotionally invested in this very short read, while being highly amused by some of the events and a little bemused by the science stuff. Armistice Day: A Collection of Remembrance - Spark Interest and Educate Children about Historical MomentsJulen e Ibai eran inseparables. Amigos que compartían clase, juegos en un jardín y paseos por la playa en las noches de verano. I really enjo yed The Many Worlds Of Albie Bright as it had a range of happy, sad and funny moments. When I read the book I wanted to re-read it and re-read it as it is such a good book.

Sure signs that the creative wells are running dry at last, the Captain’s ninth, overstuffed outing both recycles a villain (see Book 4) and offers trendy anti-bullying wish fulfillment. Stephen Albie Bright leads a happy, normal life. Well, as normal as it gets with two astrophysicist parents who named their son after their favorite scientists, Stephen Hawking and Albert Einstein. I liked Albie best because he is such an inventive character and was determined to find his mother in one of those worlds. The many worlds of Albie bright is a book which is about a young boy who had a dream of becoming a scientist and that is what his parents to become when he is older .his parents were always so busy he always missed his parents at a young age his mother died from cancer.he had missed school for a few days in his family most of his brother and sisters were scientist and lived a good life. one day he created a time travel proto type which could send you to a parallel universe. I have like it ... This middle grade drama is a fun exploration of one aspect of quantum physics, and doesn't dwell too heavily on the trauma of losing a parent. Considering the topics covered, it's a light read that even reluctant readers might be tempted to try. A bit funny, a bit sad and a bit mad.

I really would recommend this book to someone else because it has a bit of every genre inside! I'd give it a 100000000/5 Review if i could. But then Albie's mother dies of cancer, and his world is shattered. When his father explains that she might be alive in a parallel universe, Albie knows he has to find her. So, armed with a box, a laptop, and a banana, Albie sets out to do just that.
